Isla Mujeres’ Downtown Happy Hours –
You can enjoy live music, and food, at Fayne’s, as well as an awesome Happy Hour from 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM, with 2x1 cocktails available - including gin tonic, daiquiris, and margaritas! Fayne’s Bar and Grill is located on one of the busiest blocks of Avenida Hidalgo and is an enjoyable place to people-watch, listen to live music, and grab a bite to eat.
This small but popular bar on Avenida Hidalgo has great prices on drinks normally, but also provides even better prices during their Happy Hour until 11:00 PM, with a menu of ‘Well Drinks’/ house cocktails, that you can get 2x1 on for just 90 MXN pesos. These cocktails include gin tonic, palomas, margaritas, Cuba libres, and more). Rock Bar is also well known for its arms - 5 shots of tequila or lemon drop shots, for just 100MXN pesos. Go by and join in the fun, with a mix of local clientele, foreign residents, and tourists, this is a wonderful spot to mingle!
The perfect spot for street-side dining with Mexican cuisine and seafood, Ocean’s also has a daily Happy Hour from 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM, with 2x1 margaritas, mojitos, and pina coladas. Go by for lunch or an early dinner, with some refreshing 2x1 cocktails. Or just go by to enjoy a drink at their bar.
Located next door to Ocean’s on Avenida Hidalgo, you will find Xantolo, this spot has the same Happy Hour deals on their house cocktails as Ocean’s and Lola Valentina, which means that you can start the Happy Hour at one location and continue it at the next, without having to go too far.
Like its neighboring restaurants (Ocean’s and Xantolo), Lola Valentina has a 2x1 Happy Hour deal on its house cocktails from 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM daily (including mojitos, margaritas, and pina coladas). However, each morning they also have 2x1 on their delicious mimosas to accompany your breakfast (available from 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM), a great way to kickstart your day in paradise.
Located on Avenida Hidalgo, the island’s main bar and restaurant strip, El Patio is a popular choice for its live music every day. It also has a wonderful Happy Hour (or two hours) from 4:30 PM – 6:30 PM every day! Their Happy Hour includes 60 MXN peso Margaritas and Mojitos, 30 MXN peso domestic beers (bottled), and 25 MXN peso XX on tap. During this time, they also have deals on food, including nachos, wings, quesadillas, guacamole and pico de gallo.
If you’re a fan of salsa music and dancing, then be sure not to miss out on La Terraza, this bar located on one of Avenida Hidalgo’s corners, is an upstairs bar and has a Happy Hour daily, from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM, with 2x1 cocktails, as well as two draft beers for 85 MXN pesos. You may also find other daily specials, so go by and check it out!
This small, popular sports bar, located on Avenida Hidalgo, opposite Pizza Bella, has a Happy Hour from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM daily. Go by and check it out, with deals on shots and more. Enjoy live music and sports on TV.
Check out Miguel’s Moonlite for a fun night with live music and a pool table to enjoy! This bar, located by Mariscos de Humo has 2x1 drinks from 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM, including margaritas, mojitos, and more!
Located by the main square, on Avenida Hidalgo, this popular taco spot has its own Happy Hour on drinks. From 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM, you can get 2x1 drinks at this location. Go by to check out their delicious tacos for a yummy, budget-friendly dinner, and take advantage of their drinks deal too.
Live music, Caribbean views, and Happy Hour can be enjoyed at Tiny Gecko, on Isla Mujeres’ downtown Malecon. Happy Hour is from 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM, with specials on offer daily! Go by and get something to eat, quench your thirst, enjoy live music and beautiful views!
Located close to Tiny Gecko is Sueno de Marfil, the perfect spot that is also complete with beautiful Caribbean views, and Happy Hour deals. Go by for a delicious Mexican dinner, and indulge in their Happy Hour from 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM, with 2x1 on national cocktails including margaritas, pina coladas, and daiquiris. You can often enjoy live music, and performances here.
This local eatery, located on Avenida Guerrero opposite Isla Mujeres’ post office, has delicious food daily, with awesome prices. On Tuesday you can go by and enjoy their popular ‘Taco Tuesday’, and get three crispy beef tacos for 120 MXN pesos. They also have a 2x1 Happy Hour on their house cocktails, and 35 MXN peso domestic beers, as well as food specials from 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM daily.
Isla Mujeres' Mid-Island Happy Hours -
Re-opened in October 2023, Coco Jaguar, set to be renamed El Mariachi, is located in Salina Chica and open from breakfast through to dinner. You can enjoy their Happy Hour from 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM, Tuesday - Sunday, with 2x1 cocktails for 150 MXN pesos, and domestic beers for 35 MXN pesos. If you’re staying in the mid-island neighborhood, or out exploring the island, this is a great Happy Hour choice.
At Xaman, located upstairs from Caribbean Brisas, mid-island, you can relax in a cool setting, often with live music and their drink specials. Get one of their ‘Ancestral’ snacks, a pre-Hispanic appetizer from their unique menu, and enjoy their deals on drinks with specials including 1-liter cocktails - margaritas, mojitos, and more.
Aurora is well known for their delicious hamburgers and rice bowls, however, from 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM they also have a popular Happy Hour with deals on some delicious snacks and cocktails. Go by their mid-island location, close to Isla Village, and enjoy two domestic beers for 50 MXN pesos, 90 MXN pesos for a margarita or a mojito, and get one of their Happy Hour snacks to accompany your refreshments.
Wednesdays are not to be missed at Skull’s Landing, with a Happy Hour available from 4:00 PM - 10:00 PM, nicknamed Wasted Wednesdays, you can get domestic beers for just 35 MXN pesos for 6 hours, or 75 MXN pesos on house margaritas. If you miss Wednesday's Happy Hours, you can enjoy their Happy Hour during the rest of the week where you can get these deals on their daily Happy Hour from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM. Be sure to go by and watch the sunset, live music, and sports at this popular spot.
Chile & Maiz is a popular Mexican restaurant, located in the heart of the island’s local neighborhoods. This restaurant has a Happy Hour available from 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM, with 2x1 deals on their cocktails. Try one of their delicious dishes, or get a snack to accompany your cocktails.
Enjoy rooftop views of Isla Mujeres from Casa del Ceviche. Located in the island’s mid-island neighborhood of La Gloria, La Casa del Ceviche is a great location to enjoy 2x1 cocktails and 30 MXN peso domestic beers during their Happy Hour, accompanied by some delicious seafood dishes off their menu, or their Happy Hour snacks. Go by for Happy Hour, from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM, Monday - Thursday.
Caribbean views, live music, sports and Happy Hour deals on beers, cocktails, and selected items from their menu can be experienced at Neal’s Irish Pub, located at Isla 33 condominiums, in Isla Mujeres’ mid-island. Neal’s Happy Hour is available everyday from 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM.
You can indulge in a delicious menu of authentic, homemade Italian cuisine with a gorgeous Caribbean backdrop at DeNuccio’s. On the way to Punta Sur, this mid-island restaurant has Happy Hour deals on food and drinks, available from 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM (closed Tuesday and Wednesday).
Isla Mujeres' Mid-Island Happy Hours -
Sunsets, refreshing dips in the pool or the sea, live music, and Happy Hour at the oceanfront beach club, Kin Ha. From 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM, enjoy Happy Hour at this Punta Sur location with deals on their domestic beers and cocktails. You can stay for a romantic dinner with ocean views, or enjoy this Happy Hour after a day of fun at Kin Ha.
The Joint is a popular live music spot in Punta Sur, it is also a great location to enjoy Happy Hour. From 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM, you can get deals on their breakfast cocktails, to accompany their breakfast special. Go by and check out this cool bar, with great views of Cancun, and live music daily.
