One of the most popular taco joints in downtown Isla Mujeres, Los Tacos de Humo, has a great buzzing taqueria vibe.

Their fish tacos are already famous on the island, but there is much more to discover here, including ‘tacos 3 chiles’ or their delicious guacamole with mango.

They like to experiment with their specials menu and quite often you’ll find a dish you didn’t even know existed, such as Mexican lasagne.

It’s tucked away and is one of those ‘blink and you’ll miss it’ kinda places. But, if you are going from Banamex, if you continue to head north on Av. Benito Juarez, you will see it on the right.
