A popular spot amongst locals, you will see many people eating here before they go off to work. Open from 7AM – 1PM, located opposite Chedraui, Isla Mujeres’ biggest supermarket in the middle of the island, Taqueria Yuri has great prices and flavors. In 2023 they added a second location in downtown Isla Mujeres, close to the Ultramar ferry terminal, next to Isla Barbershop, behind Rentadora Joaquin, which means you can grab something delicious to eat before you pick up your golf cart and head out to explore, or some last tacos before you leave the island.
They have been serving food to islanders and visitors since 1991 in different locations on Isla Mujeres! With years of experience, you are guaranteed to have some delicious tacos with good service for a great value, with breaded chicken, eggs with different options (sausage, ham, beef), pork, and more on offer to add to your tacos or your huge torta. In the afternoons they are often open too, serving up delicious pastor (pork).
